Don’t’ forget to put on your invisible Armor Ephesians 6:13: Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and having done all the [crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place]. (Amp) Paul reminds us that because of evil and the strategies of the adversary we are engaged in an active battle every day. This battle is not limited to a place of employment, a community, and a culture of people and/or a City. We are exhorted in Matthew 6:13 to pray to be delivered from evil. The good news that Paul brings to us is that we have an invisible but powerful armor that we can dress ourselves in everyday, much less than 45 pounds. Many times we fail to see that the battle is not with the visible opponent, but with the invisible forces working through the visible opponent from an invisible realm. This armor that we are told to put on is to help us to take a battle stance against these unseen forces. The armor of God is not just passive protection when facing evil; it is to be used offensively as well when facing evil. Soooo, as we do our daily routine of armoring up for our protection, let us not forget to put on our invisible armor that we may be able to “with-stand and stand” praying always.
